LEARN

As a parent…

Do you want your child / teen to feel happier?

Be more comfortable in their own skin?

Grow into the best version of themselves?

But are they reactive, non-responsive; locked-out more often than not?

Have you found limited success - or experienced a lot of resistance with other therapies?

Do you spend precious time and money on programs that don’t make a difference, that have you all running on a hamster wheel of appointments?

Do you worry about the future?

As an autistic adult or young adult…

Do you go from high to low with no brakes?

Feel outside of yourself?

Struggle with digestive issues, poor sleep, anxiety, low energy, meltdowns when things don’t go your way, demand avoidance and low self-esteem?

Is it hard just to get out of bed because you’re always so tired?

Is it sometimes impossible to do basic things like shower and brush your teeth, or follow a movie?

And does it sometimes seem as if there’s no way out of feeling like this?

As an Allied Health professional…

Are you looking for ways to expand your means of working with and supporting your diverse range of clients?

Perhaps you’re frustrated by some of the limitations of other techniques and you are aware there is more you can be doing to help?

A.R.T. EXPRESS

A gentle, powerful introduction to the Anxiety Reframe Technique

The A.R.T. Express Course gives you the foundational science and initial, core practices behind A.R.T. Whether you're a clinician, educator, parent - or simply someone wanting to understand the body’s brilliance - this is your invitation to step into a deeper understanding of shutdown, freeze, and how we grow from within.

Rather than focusing on behaviour, A.R.T. works with the nervous system's own timing, using subtle somatic techniques, Polyvagal-and Trauma informed frameworks, and a deep respect for neurodivergent experience.

This course is for more than just autism. It allows you to work with a wide variety of humans who can't find a way to relax and find stillness through traditional methods.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The foundations of Polyvagal Theory through a neurodivergent lens

  • Why traditional calming techniques often miss the mark – and what works instead

  • Simple somatic practices that support nervous system safety without pressure or overwhelm

  • How to begin building capacity for stillness, agency, and internal connection for delicate systems

What You’ll Receive:

  • Six thoughtfully sequenced modules

  • Unique audio, video, and illustrated content designed for accessibility and depth

  • Six month access to revisit and integrate at your own pace

  • A bridge into deeper A.R.T. offerings if you wish to continue

This is Not a 'Quick Fix'

It is a recalibration, an invitation to see shutdown states and anxiety through an entirely new lens. You’ll walk away with practical tools, science you can trust, and a fresh connection to your own nervous system intelligence.

 COURSE MODULES

MODULES 1: Setting a New Stage

First up, we take a dive into the underpinnings of autism through the lens of a wide historical context. We learn to be mindful of our Western mindset; our bias and cultural training - so as to carefully consider a way to reimagine our approach to therapy for the delicate and neurodivergent - as well as ourselves.

MODULE 2: Polyvagal Theory

Here we take a unique look at the Polyvagal Theory and how it can practically apply to autism - bridging extra biology and anatomy to provide a complete picture of autism symptoms. Topics include meltdowns, shut-down, the sympathetic and parasympathetic state, states of well-being, why symptoms happen, and how this shapes our approach to autism.

MODULE 3: Brain/Body Circuitry

Learn how the many parts of the nervous system support mental and physical states. Holly pulls together current research into how the vestibular system, immune system, limbic system + brain coordinate to allow ease of movement, executive functions and emotional well-being - and how this research applies to autism and regulation.

MODULE 4: Brain Plasticity and A.R.T.

Here we expand on Anat Baniels' Nine Essentials already covered in the 'Reframe Your Thinking Around Autism' book - to enhance how we can work with them, through an A.R.T. lens - to grow our capacity to work and play with delicate and neurodiverse systems.

MODULE 5: Hara Ball Exercise and Interoception

Learn more about the autonomic nervous system and how it aligns with health and well-being. Then learn how to work with Holly's Hara Ball Exercise to help promote this calmer state of being. Includes videos of the 'ball' in action so you can see how to apply it yourself.

MODULE 6: Hand Points Exercise and Neuroception

Learn about neurosensory alignment, how sensory information is tracked in the body, and how we can rewire the body's learned patterns of response to illicit change in behaviours and emotional responses. Then, learn how to apply that knowledge and work with Acupressure Hand Points through the A.R.T. (Anxiety Reframe Technique) lens. With a practical case study.

 Please note:

  • This course is a foundational course, to give you a basic level of understanding of the philosophy, physiology and psychology underpinning the Anxiety Reframe Technique (A.R.T)--and two core exercises to play with and apply in your home and in your practice. For allied health, there may be concepts that you are familiar with, however it is vital that these components are explored prior to learning the practical exerices, so as to not move straight into a 'fix it' model. Relationship and understanding is vital, and we cannot assume that everybody has the same level of training. Finding the nuance in the approach to this information, will give you pointers, subtleties and ways forward with your clients.
  • This is a basic course to familiarise yourself with the exercises - and many practioners report it has revolutionised the way that they work. The advanced training will provide a much deeper - whole new level of connection and healing.
