Anxiety Reframe Technique

Training for Nervous System Recovery

Enrolment open

As a parent…

Do you want your child / teen to feel happier?

Be more comfortable in their own skin?

Grow into the best version of themselves?

But are they reactive, non-responsive; locked-out more often than not?

Have you found limited success - or experienced a lot of resistance with other therapies?

Do you spend precious time and money on programs that don’t make a difference, that have you all running on a hamster wheel of appointments?

Do you worry about the future?

As an autistic adult or young adult…

Do you go from high to low with no brakes?

Feel outside of yourself?

Struggle with digestive issues, poor sleep, anxiety, low energy, meltdowns when things don’t go your way, demand avoidance and low self-esteem?

Is it hard just to get out of bed because you’re always so tired?

Is it sometimes impossible to do basic things like shower and brush your teeth, or follow a movie?

And does it sometimes seem as if there’s no way out of feeling like this?

As an Allied Health professional…

Are you looking for ways to expand your means of working with and supporting your diverse range of clients?

Perhaps you’re frustrated by some of the limitations of other techniques and you are aware there is more you can be doing to help?

A.R.T. FOUNDATIONS

A gentle, powerful introduction to the Anxiety Reframe Technique

This is an invitation to see shutdown states and anxiety through an entirely new lens. You’ll walk away with practical tools, science you can easily incorporate, and a fresh connection to your own nervous system intelligence.

Polyvagal and Trauma Informed

TESTIMONIAL

"My young client previously presented with a very blunted affect, but is now displaying a wide range of emotions and facial expressions, as well as expressing his needs. I have watched as this young person has “come alive”, he is asking questions, advocating for himself and expressing himself with greater clarity and insight."

 COURSE MODULES

MODULES 1: Setting a New Stage

We begin by exploring Ken Wilber's Integral Theory and how healing expands when we consider the whole person, not just their diagnosis or symptoms. From there, we examine autism and mental illness within their historical and cultural context, reflecting on how Western assumptions have shaped our understanding of difference. This creates space for a more integrated, physiologically informed approach to supporting neurodivergent individuals - and ourselves.

Integral Theory / History / Social Justice / Criminal Justice

MODULE 2: Polyvagal Theory

This module takes a unique look at Polyvagal Theory and its practical application to autism. By integrating additional biology and anatomy, it provides a broader understanding of autistic experiences, including meltdowns, shutdown, autonomic states, well-being, and why symptoms occur. Most importantly, it explores how this understanding can transform the way we support autistic individuals.

MODULE 3: Brain/Body Circuitry

Discover how the many systems of the body work together to shape our mental, emotional and physical states. This module brings together current research on the vestibular, immune and limbic systems, and the brain, to explain how they support movement, emotional regulation and executive functioning - and what this means for understanding and supporting autism.

MODULE 4: Brain Plasticity

Building on Anat Baniel's Nine Essentials, introduced in the Reframe Your Thinking Around Autism book, this module explores how these principles can be applied through an A.R.T. lens. Learn how to work with greater sensitivity, curiosity and precision to support delicate and neurodivergent nervous systems through movement, play and connection.

MODULE 5: Hara Ball Exercise

Learn how the autonomic nervous system supports health, resilience and well-being, and why physiological flexibility is central to regulation. You'll then be guided through Holly's Hara Ball Exercise - a simple yet powerful practice designed to support this process. Includes practical demonstration videos so you can confidently use the technique yourself.

MODULE 6: Hara Hand Points

Discover how the brain tracks and organises sensory information, and how these patterns influence behaviour, emotions and regulation. This module explores neurosensory alignment and how learned physiological responses can be reshaped through targeted sensory input. You'll then learn to apply Holly's A.R.T. Acupressure Hand Points through practical instruction and a real-life case study.

 Please note:

  • This course is a foundational course, to give you a basic level of understanding of the philosophy, physiology and psychology underpinning the Anxiety Reframe Technique (A.R.T)--and two core exercises to play with and apply in your home and in your practice. For allied health, there may be concepts that you are familiar with, however it is vital that these components are explored prior to learning the practical exercises, so as to not move straight into a 'fix it' model. Relationship and understanding is vital, and we cannot assume that everybody has the same level of training. Finding the nuance in the approach to this information, will give you pointers, subtleties and ways forward with your clients.
  • This is a basic course to familiarise yourself with the exercises - and many practitioners report it has revolutionised the way that they work. The advanced training will provide a much deeper - whole new level of connection and healing.
  • Price in USD
  •  Payment Plans Available / Please message us if you are having financial difficulty
  •  Completion of A.R.T. Foundations is a pre-requisite for further A.R.T. training modules

  • This course is the new and improved - 'A.R.T. EXPRESS COURSE'

COMPLETION OF A.R.T. FOUNDATIONS IS A PRE-REQUISITE FOR FURTHER A.R.T TRAINING
